psychology has revealed to us the whole working of the inner mechanism of man,
what it is that makes him tick.
Dr. Carl Jung said that you can only understand yourself in
terms of realizing that there is within you an undeveloped potential and
that the real work of psychology, of the science of the mind, should be
to uncover and develop that perfect self that already exists. You cannot
create it, it is already there.
Dr. Jung said, "In my picture of the world
there is a vast outer realm and an equally vast inner realm. Between these
two stands man facing now one and now the other and according to his mood
or disposition, taking the one for the absolute truth by denying or sacrificing
the other."
When we begin to realize that at present we do not really
know our true selves, we begin to see that there is a whole new world
to discover. Up until now, our conditioned nature, with its fears, compulsions
and doubts, has been directing our lives. But we don't
